  • This role was fast paced and nonstop
  • Logged into customer accounts to check up on a repair or generally chase an enquiry up they had previously made
  • Within this role faced many challenges e.g.; frustrated customers or trying to locate information
  • Succeeded well in this job role due to polite and can-do attitude approach and ultimately trying to resolve customers queries to the best of ability

November 2020 – March 2021 Universal Credit Advisor

  • As a Universal Credit Advisor, was contacting all tenants who had made a new claim for UC to offer them support and advice and deliver excellent customer service to these tenant’s
  • Ensured suitable payment arrangements/Direct Debits were set up and inputted onto the Open Housing system or access the Landlord Portal to apply for Direct Rent Payments or a deduction for rent arrears
  • If a tenant required extra support in sustaining their tenancy, would assist them in submitting DHP applications or sending referrals to other sectors , such as Water Advisor to look at water rates being reduced or Money Advice if struggling to budget and this would be affecting their tenancy
  • Send external referrals to Work ad Skills if tenant needed help looking for work
  • Within this role was also covering own patch of a certain area, and checking the accounts on Open Housing, have experience in serving Notice of Possessions and knowledge of the Arrears Codes
  • Once had supported a tenant, would upload their case onto advice pro for outcomes

  • As a Crisis Intervention Worker, was responsible in helping clients in Crisis with regards to their Housing or Benefits
  • Responsible for own Caseload of clients which was between 10-20 clients at one time
  • Also responsible for taking and making phone calls to other professional organisations such as; Local Council, Social Services and Estate Agents in which my clients were tenants off
  • Responsible in generating and providing quarterly stats and reports to the Local Council as this organisation was a charity and our work was funded by the Adult Care Team department for Rochdale Council
  • Managed and monitored databases, caseloads of team members and achieved NVQ in Business Admin at a Level 2 along with taking other sideline courses to help within role as a Crisis Intervention Worker
