- To professionally assess all cases from our brokers in a prompt and timely manner to make informed underwriting decisions that are in line with company policies, procedures and lending criteria to minimise the risk to the business with a strong focus on fraud avoidance

Review Local Authority planning portal to ensure planning permission has been granted for proposed project where necessary
- Complete Initial Terms Letter/DIP to confirm rates, loan amount, term, fees, conditions precedent and confirm valuation costs
- Instruct valuation ensuring specific instructions relevant to the security property is relayed to the surveyor. (eg: development project, HMO, conversion, block/portfolio lend)
- Review valuation, confirming the value of the security is uncompromised for lending purposes. Request any recommended reports are obtained where necessary
- Instruct Solicitor once signed DIP received and due diligence complete
- Liaise with Solicitor to issue Legal Documents and pre-loan enquiries once initial undertaking is received
- Complete Internal Credit Reports
