On Friday 20th May 2016, we’re sending two of our team to Boghart Hole Clough in Manchester to take part in the annual Give & Gain Day.
Organised by Business In The Community, Give & Gain Day is a global day encouraging employers to give their staff paid time off to volunteer and help local good causes and make a positive difference in their communities.
Along with other businesses and youth groups, we will be tasked with a specific project throughout the day in order to tackle social and environmental issues in the local area.

The result
Louise O’Brien and Cara Reader joined staff members from other businesses around the North West to spend the day working around the area of the Boggart Hole Clough lake to improve accessibility.
This included cutting back brambles and small branches, litter picking and laying bark on the path, which all goes towards making the area more inclusive for younger and older people, as well as those with disabilities.
