Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced accountant—either fully qualified (ACA/ACCA) or qualified by experience—to join our professional team.
The Role:
This is a hands-on position suited to a proactive accountant with a solid background in practice. You will manage a varied client portfolio and be responsible for delivering a broad range of services including accounts preparation, tax compliance, and advisory support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of year-end accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships
- Corporation tax and personal tax computations and submissions
- VAT returns, bookkeeping, and management accounts
- Direct client liaison to provide advice and ensure compliance
- Supporting and reviewing the work of junior team members
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices
Candidate Profile:
- ACA/ACCA qualified or qualified by experience in practice
- Strong working knowledge of UK accounting and tax regulations
- Experience managing a portfolio of clients independently
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Confident in using cloud-based accounting systems such as Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
