Job Description

We are looking for an Audit Assistant Manager to join our Client, to assist in managing and delivering audit engagements from planning through to completion.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Take the lead on-site during audits, implementing agreed plans through to finalization. Coordinate team resources, assign tasks, and manage timelines for completion.
  • Ensure audit quality by adhering to company methodologies and maintaining compliance with auditing standards.
  • Supervise and support audit juniors by reviewing their work, guiding their development, and offering constructive coaching.
  • Prepare audit findings reports, documenting key risks or concerns identified, and highlighting important messages for review.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, adapting communication styles to meet client needs and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.

What we are looking for:

  • ACA, ACCA, or equivalent
  • Proven track record in audit and accounts, with thorough knowledge of audit quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong understanding of risk assessment and the implementation of effective control measures.
  • Skilled in building client rapport and effectively addressing client requirements.
  • Experience in mentoring junior team members and creating a supportive, high-performing environment.
