We’re working with a respected accountancy practice based in Manchester that is looking to recruit an experienced Audit Manager to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious professional who’s ready to take the next step in their career within a supportive and forward-thinking firm.
The Role:
As Audit Manager, you will lead a portfolio of clients across a range of sectors, ensuring audits are delivered on time and to the highest standard. You’ll manage and mentor junior staff, work closely with Partners, and play a key role in maintaining strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the audit process from planning to completion
- Leading and mentoring a team of audit seniors and assistants
- Reviewing audit files and ensuring compliance with relevant standards
- Building strong relationships with clients and providing trusted advice
- Liaising with internal departments to ensure cohesive service delivery
About You:
- ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
- Experience in a UK-based accountancy practice
- Strong technical knowledge of audit and accounting standards
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to manage deadlines and work under pressure
