Job Role; Bookkeeper

Salary; c £30,000 plus annual bonus

Location; Rochdale – on site car parking

Working with our client, modern firm of accountants, based in Rochdale we are a looking to appoint an experienced Bookkeeper/Accountant to join their vibrant team. Our client will support you in the role and your development and will offer Hybrid working, after training is completed.

You should expect to cover:

  • Sales and Purchase Ledger processing
  • Cashbook including bank reconciliations, cashiering and petty cash
  • Payroll on a weekly and monthly basis
  • VAT returns and reconciliations
  • Support with month end and reconciliations
  • Trial Balances
  • Administration related to accounts

You will need to bring:

  • Bookkeeping and accounting knowledge
  • IT skills including Excel
  • A proactive approach
  • Ability to talk to stakeholders
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Previous SAGE 200 experience is desirable
