Corporate Tax Manager
Job Description
We are working on behalf of a Top 10 UK professional services firm with a strong and growing presence in Manchester, seeking an experienced Corporate Tax Manager to join their expanding tax practice. This role offers a genuine mix of compliance and advisory work, exposure to mid-market, OMB and international groups, and a clear route to Senior Manager and beyond.
Corporate Tax Manager – Responsibilities:
- Managing a portfolio of corporate tax clients, acting as the primary point of contact
- Reviewing complex UK corporate tax computations and returns
- Delivering advisory work including:
- Group structuring and reorganisations
- Corporate transactions (acquisitions, disposals, demergers)
- R&D tax relief and other incentives
- International tax and cross-border matters (with specialist support)
- Leading and developing a team of tax professionals, including coaching and performance management
- Working closely with partners on technical delivery, client strategy, and business development
Corporate Tax Manager – Ideal Candidate:
- CTA and/or ACA qualified (or equivalent)
- Currently operating at Manager or Senior Manager level within a UK accountancy practice
- Strong technical grounding in UK corporate tax
- Confident in managing client relationships and leading engagements end-to-end
- Commercially minded, proactive, and keen to progress in a growing team
Corporate Tax Manager – Package & Benefits:
