Job Description

Working with our Client based in Rochdale we are looking to appoint a Finance Administrator to join a busy finance team and reporting to a Senior Accounts Team Leader.

This is a good opportunity for someone wanting to get into an accounting based role and really gain some strong experience within an accounts team

Duties of the Finance Administrator will include:

  • Log and process of Supplier invoices via the in house system
  • Calculate daily Supplier costs and update records
  • Record daily cash receipts from Customers
  • Check Supplier statements and process payments
  • Handle Customer queries and requirements
  • Assist with the management of Customer accounts
  • Assist with Credit Control calls
  • Complete Credit Checks on new Customer accounts
  • Assist with account collections
  • Answer calls, take messages and update relevant employees
  • Record Supplier invoices on in house system

To be considered for this role you will need 2 years previous experience in an office based role and have a willingness to learn and progress within a Finance based role – previous experience within a finance based role would be beneficial. You will also need strong IT skills – Microsoft office and excel

Working hours for the role are 8.30am till 5pm and onsite parking is available
