Location : Trafford Park (Hybrid working, 1 day a week in the office)

With our client based at Trafford Park we are looking to appoint a Financial Crime Specialist, you will be responsible for the prevention and detection of financial crime, protecting our customers and the company. You will be working Monday – Friday 8.30 – 5 and will be required to work 1 in 4 Saturdays.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Work across all aspects of Financial Crime Prevention including financial crime monitoring systems, investigations and preparation of external reports
  • Investigate patterns of potential financial crime and act swiftly to mitigate customer detriment financial loss and or/regulatory risk
  • Effectively use investigate interviewing techniques whilst maintain a high levels of customer service standards
  • Act as point of reference for internal and external customers regarding financial crime detection and prevention
  • Educate business areas on current financial crime tends to increase awareness
  • Maintain understanding of all types of financial crime, trends and best practices for financial crime prevention and detection
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements relating to, but not limited to, financial crime and investigation procedures
  • Attain and maintain competence under company policy and competence scheme
  • Reach and maintain key performance indicators to required standards


  • Looking for someone who has previous experience in a financial crime environment
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience of working in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to manage a high and demanding workload
