Health and Safety Administrator

Rochdale

£19,000 – £23,000 DOE

Monday – Friday / 8:30-5:30

We are working with a key client in Rochdale to appoint someone in there SHEQ Department. This is an existing role within the company, currently a team of 2 looking to expand to 3 people. We are looking for someone with previous office experience. Knowledge of excel is desirable but good telephone manner and experience communicating via email is essential.

Daily duties will consist of:

  • Maintain the certification/accreditation and membership tracker
  • Update third party portals when policies and certificates are out of date for all company accreditations, memberships and client portals
  • Update certificates when reissued and make accessible to all employees
  • Assistance with external and internal audits
  • Administration of the Quality master index list ensuring updates are logged by the responsible manager.
  • Review complaints log and feedback to SHEQ advisor to assess requirement for additional audits to vulnerable areas of the business.
  • Reissuing and communicating main policies to all employees as and when reviewed/as instructed by SHEQ Advisor
  • Safety, Health and Environmental Champion
  • Chief First Aider/Chief Fire Warden
  • Schedule ISO Management Review meetings ensuring key staff can attend and taking minutes during the meetings.
  • Assist with facilities maintenance

Full SHEQ training is provided but existing knowledge of facilities/health and safety would be advantageous. Full UK Driving License would also be advantageous but not required for the role.
