Job Description
Recruitment Solutions is working with our Client a Supply Chain / Logistics giant to the High Street – due to expansion they have a need to appoint an AAT Qualified – Ledger Assistant.
Our Client has a culture of working on the office – the pace and value of the business on a day to day basis means that they like staff to be office based working together to deliver key commercial KPI’s and deadlines – they do offer flexible start and finish times and work from home days after probation – totally c 3 weeks.
THE ROLE OF THE AAT QUALIFIED – LEDGER ASSISTANT
Will report to the Finance Manager and will work as part of a fast paced and proactive Financial and Management Accounting team. This role will focus on offering Commercial support across Financial Accounting and in particular Purchase Ledger.
- Maintain Key Supplier relationships with Suppliers based in UK / Europe and China
- Agreeing and Applying Payment Terms
- Supported by a Ledger Assistant meet deadlines to process Invoices
- Query Management and Resolution to meet Payment deadlines
- Reconciliation of Supplier Statements to feed into Month End processes
- Oversee of multiple Payment Runs on Sterling and FX
- Ad hoc duties
To be suited to the AAT Qualified – Ledger Assistant role you need to be an open / lively and proactive character who isn’t afraid to challenge a large / well established Company Brand.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT AS THE AAT QUALIFIED – LEDGER ASSISTANT
- Salary of c £35,000 – doe
- Monday to Friday 38 hours – flex start and finish times
- On Site Car Parking
- 20 Days Hols PLUS Bank Hols – rising
