Salary – £35k to £40k

Fully office based (Occasional travel to warehouse required)

We are working with a key client to hire for their head office in Rochdale. They are looking to bring in a Logistics Contracts Manager to oversee the Contractual side and deal with all our 3PL providers as well as setting and anylising KPIs in the warehouse.

Your responsibilities for a Logistics Manager will include:

  • Management of their performance for storage and distribution in the UK
  • Liaising with all 3PL providers and negotiating contracts
  • Working the full Tendering process from beginning to end
  • Maintenance of stock accuracy within business management system.
  • Delivering operational service within budget and invoice approval
  • Management and control of the CHEP pallet account
  • Managing projects to maintain and improve efficiencies to suit business needs
  • Be the first contact for any matter relating to stock management processes and warehouse and distribution activity
  • Developing processes to keep pace with growing business

For this role as a Logistics Contracts Manager you will need:

  • Full experience of working with and using Microsoft Office on a daily basis
  • Use of a full Business Management system and working knowledge of SAP
  • Education to degree standard or professional equivalent, with at least five years’ experience and training
  • Thorough understanding of the SAP MRP process and a good knowledge of the SAP architecture.
