Management Accountant

Location: Leeds City Centre

Full time – 37 hours per week

Salary up to £40,000 (experience dependent) plus generous benefits

Role Purpose

You will play an integral part in the Management Accounts team by carrying out bookkeeping activities and the preparation of monthly management accounts across our client base, where you will have the following role responsibilities

Person Specification:

  • Musthave strong experience and working knowledge of cloud accounting software, including Quickbooks, Xero and SAGE
  • Robust experience in preparing management accounts for a variety of clients across practice and industry
  • Part qualified with ACCA/ACA/CIMA or equivalent or comparable experience (the role will provide the opportunity to further studies towards chosen qualification)
  • Competent with all Microsoft Office software packages especially Excel
  • Strong analytical skills with an eye for detail
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships with clients
  • Previous experience in a similar management accounting or bookkeeping position, within a practice environment would be desirable

Role Objectives

  • Attending client sites where necessary to carry out bookkeeping in a timely and accurate manner
  • Preparation of monthly or quarterly management accounts
  • Preparation of budgets, projections and cash flows
  • Developing strong working relationships with clients
  • Attend client meetings with Senior Management Accountants/Directors where necessary
