Job Description

Working with our Client based in Middleton I am looking to appoint an Operations Co-Ordinator to join the administration team on a permanent basis

Main purpose of the role is to provide administrative support to Operational Director and wider Operations team, providing an exceptional level of service to both external and internal Customers.

Main duties of the role will include:

  • Receive and action direct telephone calls, mail and emails in a correct and professional manner
  • Update Customer portals with required documentation once work has been undertaken
  • Updating payments and providing information for Management reports
  • Assist Operations management in planning weekly work schedules to maximize efficiency
  • Submit applications for payments to Customers and or full / accurate invoicing information to the accounts team
  • Verify and process expenses
  • Raise purchase order requests – liaise with finance and submit orders to suppliers when requested
  • Create job packs for each profile
  • Monitor holidays and sickness  for staff and update relevant Managers
  • Track and log variation orders, cancellation orders, overtime requests and other commercial operations

This role is critical to both the sales and operational functions of the business – you will need to be work accurately in a timely fashion with high attention to detail

The ideal Candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and have strong communication skills
