Job Role; Payroll and HR Assistant

Location; Oldham

Salary; up to £30,000 pro rata for c 30 hours week – which can be negotiated and flexible

Consultants; Karen Reynolds and Charlotte Hilton

With your Client we are looking to appoint a Payroll / HR Assistant on a Part Time – 30 hrs a week which can be flexible and negotiated.

Reporting to the Finance Controller and working as part of the Finance team of this long established and secure Oldham based business we are looking to appoint a Payroll / HR Assistant.

Initially you will be asked to focus on Payroll;

  • Weekly and Monthly Payroll for c 250 Employees
  • Calculate Bonus and Commission Payments
  • Work across Compliance including – NI / PAYE and Tax
  • Management of Pension
  • Query Management and Resolution

Once you have found your stride across Payroll you will then have an opportunity to step into the HR function which will include;

  • On Boarding of Starters and Leavers
  • Diary Management for Interviews / Appraisals etc
  • Right to Work Checks
  • Maintenance of accurate Records
