Recruitment Solutions NW is growing, and we’re looking for a confident, motivated and people-focused Resource Consultant to join our successful team in Rochdale.This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys speaking with people, building relationships and working in a fast-paced environment. You’ll play an important role in identifying talented candidates, understanding their career goals and matching them with suitable opportunities across our client base.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Resource Consultant, you’ll work closely with our Recruitment Consultants and wider team to support recruitment campaigns from the initial candidate search through to interview and placement.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Searching for suitable candidates using job boards, our internal database, social media, referrals and other recruitment channels.
• Proactively contacting candidates to discuss new career opportunities.
• Responding to applications and conducting initial candidate screening calls.
• Matching suitable candidates to current and upcoming vacancies.
• Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with candidates.
• Coordinating interviews and providing candidates with interview preparation and support.
• Gathering interview feedback and keeping candidates updated throughout the recruitment process.
• Completing candidate registration, Right to Work and other relevant compliance checks.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date candidate records on the company CRM system.

The successful Resource Consultant will have:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Confidence speaking with candidates over the telephone.
• A friendly, professional and approachable personality.
• Strong relationship-building skills.
• Good organisational and time-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail when updating records and completing compliance documentation.
• A proactive approach and the confidence to use your own initiative.
• Resilience, determination and a positive attitude.
• Good general IT skills and the ability to learn new systems.
