Up to £25,000 DOE

We are currently working with one of a key clients to appoint within their Finance Department. The role is for a Sales Ledger Assistant.

Daily duties for the Sales Ledger Assistant role include:

  • Processing invoices and sending invoices to both internal and external customers
  • Raising credit notes as required
  • Posting and allocating cash receipts from customers
  • Communicating with customers to settle outstanding debt and agree payment plans
  • Reviewing aged debt
  • Activating and distributing group gift cards
  • Completing credit checks and advising on credit terms and risk
  • Supporting treasury and accounts payable teams on other activities as required

Skills and experience required for the Sales Ledger Assistant are:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft outlook, excel and word
  • Strong communication and influencing skill
  • Ability to achieve high levels of accuracy whilst working under pressure
  • Experience of working within a fast paced treasury environment
  • Experience of working with large volumes of data
