Job Description

Working with an International business we are looking to appoint a Senior Purchase Ledger Clerk to work within a Property Team on a permanent basis

Working across invoices for c800 invoices – covering Rent, Rates, Service charges and Insurance, the Property Purchase Ledger Team Leader will over see a team of 2 Purchase Ledger Assistants as well as manage their own workload

Duties will include:

  • Responsible for Rents, Rates, Service Charges and Landlord Insurance
  • Manage the team to accurately code and input invoices onto the UK property ledger
  • Reconcile Landlord statements and chase outstanding documentation as required
  • Oversee payments runs for property and ensure accuracy / completeness of the payment
  • Key point of contact for the Property Department
  • Reconcile Business Rates accounts and chase Councils for refunds
  • Work with the team to create strong controls and processes to ensure a high level of billing compliance for each rent quarter / monthly rent period

The successful Candidate will need previous experience in a senior role and have previously managed a team. You will need strong communication skills and be able to build good relationships with internal and external stakeholders

This is a high volume, fast paced environment so would suit someone who has worked in this environment before.
