As they continue to grow, they are looking for experienced Sewing Machinists to help bring their gear to life.
Salary:
- £12.21 per hour
- Permanent position
The Role:
We’re seeking a Sewing Machinist with proven experience using flatbed industrial sewing machines to join the production team. You’ll play a key role in crafting high-quality fight gear including rings, gloves, pads, bags, and protective equipment. Attention to detail and consistent stitching quality are crucial in this role to meet the demands of combat sports professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate flatbed sewing machines to stitch components of boxing and MMA products
- Work with materials such as synthetic leathers, vinyl, canvas, and foam padding
- Read and follow production specifications and technical sewing patterns
- Conduct visual quality checks on your work for consistency and durability
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area
- Communicate any machine issues or material shortages to supervisors
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience using flatbed sewing machines in a manufacturing environment
- Precision and care when working with performance gear
- Familiarity with heavy-duty materials and layered assembly
- Ability to meet production targets without sacrificing quality
