SHEQ Site Manager
Job Description
We are working with a manufacturing business based in North Manchester who are looking to bring in a SHEQ manager to their team. They are looking for someone who is from a Construction/Utilities background. There will be a decent portion of time spent off site.
SHEQ Manager – Responsibilities:
- To assist in the development and maintenance of the Companies Health And Safety Management Systems and policies.
- Audits including management system procedures, health, safety and environment.
- Conduct site and temporary works audits to ensure HSE & Quality Assurance Compliance.
- Liaison with the internal management team and external parties.
- Assist in the completion of PQQ’s for new business tenders
- Produce the construction phase health and safety management plan along with all CDM associated documentation.
- To ensure that corrective actions arising from site inspections are effectively addressed and closed out, and that opportunities for the continuous improvement of safe working practices are fully explored.
- To liaise with client safety reps and regulatory authorized
- To prevent the adoption of unsafe working practices
- To assist and undertake accident, incident and near miss reporting investigation, in accordance with the companies procedures and devise remedial action plans.
SHEQ Manager – Renumeration Package:
- Salary – £45-55k
- 25 days annual leave plus statutory bank holidays
