About the client

Our client is a leading global logistics provider, they are looking for an X-Ray Screener, who will be responsible for using an x-ray machine to conduct screening and security checks for prohibited items of cargo to be transported by air.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• X-Ray screening parcels ready for export
• Conduct screening and security checks for prohibited items of cargo to be transported by air, in line with training and CAA regulations
• Recording and escalating any issues or concerns
• Utilise knowledge of airline codes, prefixes, common cargo abbreviations
• Assisting in general warehouse duties.

Skills & Experience

• Cargo Operative Screening
• Ability to multi-task and prioritise and a proactive approach
• Must be physically fit due to Manual Handling.
• Interpersonal skills – Must be able to communicate efficiently.
• Experience using an X-ray machine previously
