Assistant Management Accountant
Job Description
With our Client Recruitment Solutions (NW) Ltd is looking to appoint a Assistant Management Accountant.
Reporting to a Finance Manager and working as part of a team – the role of Assistant Management Accountant is for a hands on proactive Part Qualified AAT / ACCA Candidate who is looking to make a move into a complex / fast paced Business with a Group TO of over £100m. Trading across the UK and Europe the role is for a character who has worked previously in larger Companies and Teams.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT AS THE ASSISTANT MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT;
- Annual Salary of c £28,000 – £32,000 which will be dependent on depth of experience and also exams passed
- Annual Performance Review and Performance related Bonus
- Hybrid after Probation / Training

THE ROLE OF THE ASSISTANT MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT;
Is a for a self motivated / proactive character. You will need c 2 / 3 years experience in a Finance based role. You will also need strong Excel skills – including creating and maintaining Spreadsheets.
Daily / Weekly / Monthly you will work across;
- Extensive Reconciliations across Bank and Income and Expenditure
- Preparation of detailed Cash Flow Reports – attending Meetings with Finance and Non Finance Managers
- Strong Reporting and Accounting across Assets and calculation of Depreciations
- Assist with preparation of Month End to include – a range of Balance Sheet Reconciliations
- Credit Control – Allocation of Payments and strong Aged Debt Management
- Assist with preparation for Year End – to include final Bank Statements and Aged Debt Analysis
- Ad hoc Projects
