Job Description
We are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our client’s expanding and supportive Finance Team. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their finance career who is keen to develop their skills and grow within a well-regarded business.
What you’ll be doing:
- Assisting with the preparation of management accounts
- Processing invoices, payments, and expenses across purchase and sales ledgers
- Reconciling bank accounts and supplier statements
- Supporting the preparation of VAT returns
- Assisting with month-end and year-end processes
- Responding to internal and external finance queries
- Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc administrative tasks
What We’re Looking For:
- Some experience in an accounts or finance role
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive attitude and eagerness to learn and progress
