Recruitment Solutions (NW) Ltd are delighted to be representing our client – a well-established leader in the entertainment and leisure fitout sector – as they look to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team.
Our client delivers high quality interior solutions within hospitality and leisure. With a strong reputation for craftsmanship, innovation and design collaboration, they bring ambitious projects to life and now seek a commercially astute QS to support the financial and contractual success of their fitout projects.
The Role
As Quantity Surveyor, you will take ownership of the financial and contractual management of fitout schemes from concept through to completion. This includes:
- Preparing and managing cost estimates, budgets and forecasts
- Overseeing procurement, subcontractor negotiations and value engineering
- Conducting regular site visits, ensuring progress and variations are accurately captured
- Drafting and administering contracts, ensuring compliance throughout projects
- Delivering clear financial reporting, cash flow management and monthly cost reviews
- Collaborating closely with designers, project managers and site teams to ensure commercial alignment with design and delivery goals
About You
We are keen to speak with Quantity Surveyors who can demonstrate:
- A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
- At least 3 years’ experience in a QS role, ideally within the fitout/interiors sector
- Strong commercial acumen with a clear understanding of procurement and contract law
- Proven ability to manage variations, value engineering and site-based financial operations
- Excellent communication, negotiation and analytical skills
- A proactive, hands-on approach with strong attention to detail
