Job Description
With our Client Recruitment Solutions (NW) Ltd is looking to appoint an Assistant Accountant on a permanent basis.
Our Client are a Manufacturing business supplying Customers within the Automotive Sector – based North Manchester, they have on site car parking and are close to motorway connections. Due to their continued growth our Client is looking to appoint a proactive / self sufficient Assistant Accountant.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT AS THE ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT
- Annual Salary of c £32,000 – £35,000
- Annual Bonus – payable at Year End – based on personal and business performance
- On Site Car Parking
- Flexible start and finish times – hybrid working is offered once you have passed probation
- 25 days Hols plus Bank Hols
- Pension Scheme – which can be enhanced
THE ROLE OF THE ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT
Will report and work closely with the Finance Director and External Accountants. You will be responsible for range of Financial and Management Accounting tasks including;
- Monthly Management Accounts – to include Profit and Loss and Cash Flow Reporting
- Bank Reconciliations – Sterling and Euros
- Payments – Incoming and Outgoing
- Preparation of Sales and Purchase Ledgers for Month End
- VAT Calculation / Reporting and Payment
- Assist with preparation for Year End
- Ad hoc Projects and the business evolves
