Credit Controller
Job Description
We are looking for a Credit Controller to join our client’s Finance Team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with strong numerical skills and a proactive approach to support the credit control function, ensuring smooth cash flow and strong customer relationships.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Managing a shared inbox and supporting the Credit Control team with day-to-day administration.
- Carrying out credit risk assessments to ensure appropriate credit limits are set and maintained.
- Proactively managing overdue accounts, following up with clients, and implementing effective debt recovery procedures.
- Liaising with customers to build strong relationships and ensure timely payments.
- Preparing regular reports on receivables and overdue accounts for senior management.
- Collaborating with finance colleagues to forecast cash flow and minimise risks associated with credit exposure.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in credit control or accounts receivable.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Confident user of Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
