Job Description
We’re partnering with a global leader in consumer goods, whose instantly recognisable brands are found in homes and on shelves across the UK and around the world. With sustained growth across retail and e – commerce channels, the business is now looking to appoint a Demand Planner to join its high performing Supply Chain team. This is an opportunity to play a key role at the heart of a fast moving supply chain operation, supporting product availability and commercial success across multiple markets.
The Role
As a Demand Planner, you will:
- Own a defined product portfolio – delivering accurate short, mid and long term forecasts, managing stock replenishment and supporting supply planning
- Monitor performance and KPIs – achieving agreed SFD, stock level, and CSL targets while tracking ICSL and SSL metrics
- Manage the full forecast cycle – reviewing sales and production forecasts across multiple markets, balancing service levels with inventory optimisation
- Oversee supply flow – placing and managing orders with production sites, suppliers, and co packers to ensure timely, in full delivery
- Identify and resolve challenges – working cross functionally to anticipate supply issues, implement solutions, and maintain service continuity
- Maintain data integrity – managing SAP/IPB forecasting models, stock strategies, and replenishment settings to ensure accuracy and efficiency
Additional Responsibilities
- Coordinating co packing activities to support cost efficiency and production scheduling
- Supporting import processes and liaising with logistics providers and customs
- Managing forecasts for promotions, new product launches and product delists
- Preparing accurate data and insight for bi monthly demand and consensus meetings
- Overseeing product lifecycle changes including phase ins, phase outs and SLOB management
- Contributing to process improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain performance
The Package
- Salary: £35,000 – £36,500
- Bonus: Up to 15% annually (performance linked)
