Data Administrator
Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Master Data Administrator to join a small finance team. This role is ideal for a finance graduate or if you have experience in maintaining master data.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate and consistent master data across key business systems. This role is essential to ensuring the quality and reliability of the core business information – supporting effective operations, reporting, and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create, maintain, and update master data records (customers, products, pricing, packaging etc.)
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of data across all systems (ERP, finance, and supply chain)
- Conduct regular data audits, cleansing, and validation to maintain high data quality
- Support system upgrades, migrations, and projects involving master data
- Monitor and report on data quality metrics, identifying and resolving issues
- Provide support and guidance to the internal and finance teams
Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous experience in data administration, master data management, or a similar role
- Strong attention to detail with excellent data accuracy and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics)
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
