Internal Controls Auditor
Job Description
Recruitment Solutions (NW) Ltd are working to appoint an Internal Controls Auditor for our Global Service Client who has offices across the UK, Manchester is home to the Finance Teams including Internal Audit.
This is a highly visible role across the Finance Operations of the business – you will be the type of character who is capable of undertaking detailed Internal Review of Teams – AP / AR / Management Accounts etc – you will then be able to find and present solutions to Operational issues and get the ‘buy’ in from Head of Departments.
QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND PERSONALITY needed for the Internal Controls Auditor
- Be visible and vocal – being comfortable with challenging existing work practices
- ACA / CIMA / ACCA – Finalist / Qualified
- Intermediate / Advanced Excel
- Take a hands on approach to Internal Control – Guidance and Escalation
- Excellent face to face / written communication skills – be a relationship builder
- Excellent Planning and Time Management skills
KEY ACTIVITES OF THE INTERNAL CONTROLS AUDITOR
- Review / Report / Recommend – Finance Controls (Internal) – Control Testing / Walkthroughs
- Review / Report / Recommend – Finance Controls (External) – Control Checks / Internal and External Audit – Internal Control
- Analysis – Process Improvement and Root Cause Analysis
- Risk Management
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT AS THE INTERNAL CONTROLS AUDITOR
- Annual Salary of c £45,000 – £47,000
- Annual Performance / Salary Review – Bonus
- 25 days Holiday PLUS Bank Holidays
- Hybrid after a settling in period – 2 days home
