Our client, a market leader in packaging solutions and supply chain services, is expanding their sales team. They’re seeking an ambitious Field-Based Sales Manager to drive new business, grow existing accounts, and champion sustainable solutions.

What You’ll Do
- Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities across a variety of B2B sectors
- Develop strong, long-term relationships with existing clients, maximising value through upselling and cross-selling products and services
- Deliver compelling presentations and tailored solutions to clients, influencing key decision makers
- Negotiate pricing and contractual agreements with clients and suppliers to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes
- Travel regularly across the Midlands and southern England, with occasional nationwide visits, to build and strengthen customer relationships
- Take the lead in discussions around packaging sustainability (comprehensive training will be provided)
- Prepare clear monthly reports covering sales performance, pipeline activity, and account growth
- Stay informed on product knowledge, industry developments, market trends, and relevant legislation
- Share valuable client feedback to help shape ongoing product and process improvements
- Represent the business as a trusted ambassador, promoting company values in every interaction
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in B2B field sales, ideally within packaging
- Track record of achieving targets in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of distributor networks and 3PL providers (preferred)
- Strong commercial acumen and excellent negotiation skills
- Professional, confident communicator – comfortable engaging at all levels
- High attention to detail, organised and self-motivated
- Team player with solid IT skills (Excel & Microsoft Office)
- Genuine interest in sustainability within packaging
