Job Description

We’re working with a growing and well-established business based in the heart of Manchester, looking to add a Part-Qualified Accountant to their dynamic finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone actively studying ACCA/CIMA with a passion for developing their career in a supportive and fast-paced environment.

Part Qualified Management Accountant – Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes
• Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts
• Prepare accruals, prepayments, and journals
• Assist with year-end audit and statutory accounts
• Liaise with external auditors and stakeholders
• Help drive process improvements and system enhancements
• Support senior finance team with ad hoc reporting and analysis

Part Qualified Management Accountant – Ideal Candidate:

• Actively studying ACCA or CIMA (Part-Qualified)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a finance role (industry or practice)
• Strong Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
• Able to manage multiple deadlines and work independently
• Confident communicator with a proactive attitude
