Job Description
We are currently partnered with an award winning business based in Bury who are looking to add a Part Qualified Management Accountant to their finance function. This is a hands-on Accountant role working closely with the Finance Director and wider finance team, taking ownership of core accounting processes and supporting the business through continued expansion.
Responsibilities of the Part Qualified Management Accountant:
- Ownership of fixed asset accounting, including depreciation, additions, disposals, and registers
- Month-end close process, including journals, accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations
- Preparation of management accounts including P&L, balance sheet and variance analysis
- Bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring VAT reporting and data preparation
- Support audit process and statutory accounts preparation
- Maintain stock and asset control processes across the business
- Support budgeting and forecasting cycles
- Assist with financial controls and process improvements
Ideal Profile of a Part Qualified Management Accountant:
- Part-qualified or qualified ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent experience)
- Strong experience in month-end accounting and management reporting
- Confident working with fixed assets and balance sheet control
- Strong Excel skills and comfortable working with financial systems (SAP desirable)
- Analytical, detail-focused, and commercially aware
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced, hands-on environment

- Salary – £40-50k
