Management Accountant
Job Description
We are pleased to be partnering with a client of ours and a key piece of recruitment within their finance function. They are a long standing business covering key markets within specialist systems manufacturing.
Management Accountant – Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts pack with analysis and commentary
- Completion of the Month End Procedure
- Costs and variance analysis
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Weekly revenue recognition analysis
- Monthly cashflow analysis
- Cash book reconciliation
- Maintaining fixed asset register
- Support annual audits
- Project margin analysis
- Supporting completion of project “Cost to Complete” spreadsheets
- Stock Analysis
- Quarterly VAT Returns
- Budgeting
- Project closure
- Payroll cover (Weekly & Monthly)
- Day to day overseeing of accounts processes
Management Accountant – Candidate Profile:
- Comfortable maintaining and owning workload and the ability to meet deadlines
- The ability to confidently and professionally liaise with individuals on the telephone, via email and face to face
- A keen eye for detail and precision
- Excellent organisational skills
- Must be happy to be hands-on with a mix of transactional, reporting and analytical work
- ACCA or CIMA qualified
- Knowledge of ERP Systems
- Microsoft Office, Strong Excel Skills
- Previous experience working within construction/engineering
- Previous experience working in a similar role
Management Accountant – The Package:
- Salary – £50k
- Annual Salary based review – based on personal performance
- Annual Profit Share review
