Job Description
A well-established and growing engineering-focused business is seeking a Management Accountant to join its finance team. Operating across multiple UK sites and supporting a wide range of commercial projects, the business offers a fast-paced environment with strong opportunities for progression.
Management Accountant – Responsibilities:
- Reporting into senior finance leadership, you will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting and supporting strategic decision-making across the business.
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Variance analysis and commentary
- Budgeting and forecasting support
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Supporting year-end and audit processes
- Monitoring cost performance across projects and departments
- Assisting with process improvements and financial controls
- Business partnering with operational teams
Management Accountant – Candidate Spec:
- Part-qualified or qualified (ACCA / CIMA / ACA)
- Proven experience in a management accounting role
- Strong analytical and Excel skills
- Experience working in a multi-site or project-led environment (desirable)
- Ability to communicate financial information to non-finance stakeholders
Management Accountant – The Package:
