Position – Demand Planner

- Reporting to the senior demand planner
- Maintenance of the forecasts given to our production units
- Manage demand planning for in house and external suppliers
- Sales forecasting and planning future orders
- Identify overstocks and outages and take relevant action to rectify
- Diagnosis of any significant deviations in our sales forecasts on a monthly basis
- Liaising with product managers to determine the reasons and if action needs to be taken
- Liaising with production units to ensure any short-term changes can be accounted for without negatively impacting safety stocks
- Input and upkeep of the forecasts previously using SAP APO but now transitioning to IBP
- Assuming the lead and running the forecast review meetings with stakeholders from different departments

- Work with suppliers to improve overall performance
- The role also has a focus on master data upkeep for the company as a global entity
