Recruitment Solutions (NW) are pleased to be partnering with our Client based North Manchester – we are working to appoint an experienced Accounts Payable Assistant.
Our Client works across a range of Sectors including Building / Farming and Eco Management and Education – they work with Clients across England and Scotland. They also have significant presence in Europe. Due to the expansion of the business we are looking to appoint a proactive / energetic and hands on Accounts Payable Assistant.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT AS THE ACCOUNTS PAYABLE ASSISTANT
- Annual Salary of c £26,000 – £27,500
- Annual Salary Review and Performance Related Bonus

THE ROLE OF THE ACCOUNTS PAYABLE ASSISTANT
Will report to the Head of Accounts Payable and work as part of a proactive / hands on and hard working Accounts Payable team. Specific tasks will include;
- Daily use of Excel for processing AP Invoices and Reporting of Payments
- Query Management and Resolution of issues that are preventing Payment
- Working with Internal and External Stakeholders
- Weekly / Monthly Supplier Statement Reconciliations
- Working to raise Ad Hoc Payments – BACS and Transfers
- Assist with preparation for Month End – which will include clearing the Ledger to Zero
