Job Description
We are working with a well-established client who is looking for an experienced Bookkeeper. The role involves mainly managing the company’s finance but also managing day to day office duties.
About the role:
- Annual Salary circa £30k – £35k
- Full time, In-office
- Birthday off
- Pension Scheme
- Flexible working hours
Your key duties & responsibilities:
- Manage purchase ledger, sales ledger and credit control duties
- Prepare and submit VAT returns
- Process Payroll for 20+ staff members
- Produce accounts up to trial balance
- Act as a main point of contact for external stakeholders
- Provide general admin and operational support to the entire business
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, customers and third-party service
About you:
- At least 3 years’ experience in a bookkeeping or similar position
- Proficiency in Microsoft office and accounting software
- Strong time management, teamwork and adaptability skills
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting and bookkeeping processes
- A proactive approach to process improvement and continuous enhancement of systems
