Job Description
With our Client – established for over 20 years and with their Head Office based in North Manchester we are looking to appoint a Financial Accountant. Our Client is within Design and Manufacturing with Sites across England / North Germany and Holland. The Customer base is large Industries across the world including The America’s / Europe and India.
The Financial Accountant will report to the Finance Controller – personality and technical skills are a priority over Qualifications – however, to be Finalist / Qualified ACCA or CIMA could be an advantage.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT AS THE FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT.
- Annual Salary of c £42,000 – £47,000 DOE
- Annual Salary and Performance related review – based on the Company Performance and your own Performance across defined KPI’s

- Monday to Friday 37.5 hours – start and finish time can be flexible

THE ROLE OF THE FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT.
Will work as part of an existing Finance team – your role will be to verify and report on the accuracy of the Group’s Financial Records. You will have a central part to play on Month and Year End close and processes. You will also play a leading part in the Budget and Forecast Cycles.
Knowledge and Experience that our Client is looking for from their Financial Accountant includes;
- A background in Manufacturing or Design is an advantage but is not essential
- Working within a larger Group is preferred
- Strong Excel skills will be essential as will experience of working on an ERP System
- Strong Analytical skills will play a central part to the role of the Financial Accountant
- Your ability to plan and prioritize your own workloads and deadlines will be vital
