Job Description
We are working with an excellent client, who is looking to appoint a Payroll Assistant on a part-time basis.
You will play a key role in ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time, supporting the smooth running of their payroll processes.
What you will be doing:
- Review and collate weekly / monthly inputs such as process payroll data, including starters / leavers, attendance, bonus and amendments
- Assist in preparing and checking monthly payroll runs
- Ensure compliance with HMRC legislation and company policies
- Handle employee payroll queries promptly and professionally
- Maintain accurate payroll records and support audits
- Assist with pensions, benefits, and statutory payments
Your key skills and requirements:
- Previous experience working in payroll
- Computer literate
- Good communication skills
What’s on offer:
- Annual salary of up to £30k (PRO RATA)
- Part-time hours 20 – 25 hours
- 25 days holiday
