With our Client we are looking to appoint a Qualified CIMA or ACCA – Finance Manager.
Will suit a Newly Qualified / Qualified CIMA / ACCA – who is proactive and self-sufficient.
Reporting to this MD of this long-established SME – are looking for a Finance Manager who can to control of the day to day running of this Finance function. Based North Manchester and this role will also report to the Finance Director of the Parent Group which has its Head Office in Bury.
Initially you will need to work to get to know your team and the wider business – this will be by face-to-face meetings and also meetings over TEAMS.
You will then meet with the MD need to scrutinise the Business and Finance Systems / Procedures
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT AS THE FINANCE MANAGER;
- Annual Salary up to c £55,000
- Annual Performance related Bonus and Review

THE ROLE OF THE FINANCE MANAGER;
- Review of Excel created Reports and Analysis
- Understand how the ERP System works across the Business – previous ERP System experience would be an advantage
- Review the production of the Monthly Management Accounts pack – understand Reporting deadlines
- Meet with Finance and Non-Finance Managers
- Sales and Purchase Ledger – work with staff to implement better working practices – EG – response to Queries / Unallocated Postings
- Work with Auditors to prepare for Year End Audit and Stat Accounts Review
- Ad hoc duties
