Job Description

An established and growing business based in Manchester is looking to appoint a Part Qualified Management Accountant to join its finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious finance professional studying ACCA/CIMA who wants broader exposure, genuine progression opportunities, and involvement in commercial decision-making.

The successful candidate will support the production of monthly management accounts, financial analysis, budgeting, and business partnering activities across the organisation.

Part Qualified Management Accountant – Responsibilities:

• Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts
• Produce balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes
• Prepare accruals, prepayments, and journal entries
• Analyse financial performance and provide commentary to stakeholders
• Assist with cashflow reporting and forecasting
• Support year-end audit processes
• Work closely with operational teams to improve financial performance
• Help drive process improvements across the finance function

Part Qualified Management Accountant – Candidate Spec:

• Part Qualified ACCA or CIMA
• Previous experience in a management accounts or assistant accountant role
• Strong Excel skills and good systems experience
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Able to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Proactive, organised, and commercially minded

• £45,000-48,000 P/A
