Job Description

RECRUITMENT SOLUTIONS (NW) Ltd – are working in partnership with our Client to appoint a Part Qualified AAT – Accounts Assistant.

Established for over 40 years – our Client is an Independent business working across the Construction and Build Sectors – due to the growth of the business they are looking to appoint a Part Qualified AAT – Accounts Assistant.

Knowledge and Skills required

  • Daily use of Excel for Reporting and Analysis an understanding of Sage would be preferable but not essential
  • Purchase Ledger – experience across Invoices / Payment / Supplier Statement Reconciliations and prep for Month End
  • Sales Ledger / Credit Control – set up of New Customers / Sales Invoice processing and Aged Debt to plan and execute Credit Control
  • Assist with preparation for Month End to include – Query Management and Resolution / Bank Reconciliations and Allocation and Reconciliation of Payments
  • Ad hoc Finance and Admin functions

You as a person will be

  • Self sufficient in planning and executing your own workload and meeting wider Finance deadlines
  • Have a strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude
  • Have the desire to work in a modern and expanding work place
  • Have ideally commenced your AAT OR be Qualified by Experience

What you can expect as the Part Qualified AAT – Accounts Assistant

  • Annual Salary of c £28,000 – £30,000 – depending on experience
  • Study Support – after probation
  • Flex start and finish times – this role is office based Monday – Friday
