Job Description

My Client is looking to appoint an Accounts Assistant to join their growing finance team on a permanent basis. This role will develop with time so the ideal Candidate needs to be a character that wants to progress and grow with the business.

You will need to have previous experience in an accounting role with knowledge of SAGE 50 and Payroll – excel skills are essential for this role.

In this role you will work across Sales Ledger, Credit Control and Payroll and will develop take on further tasks in Management Accounts as time progresses.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Manage an email inbox of finance queries
  • Check and post Supplier invoices and Credit notes using SAGE
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Prepare and process BACS payment runs
  • Collate, check and process employee expenses
  • Record and monitor uniform recoups weekly
  • Daily bank reconciliations
  • Reconcile company credit cards
  • Other ad hoc duties
