We are working with a key client based in Bury to appoint an Administration Assistant within their Finance Department. This is an exciting opportunity to work with one of the largest businesses in the UK. Working alongside the Senior Administration Assistant to support with Barclaycard administration, Expenses, and Banking administration.

Daily responsibilities of the Administration Assistant include:

  • Check all submissions for correct coding / VAT recovery / policy compliance
  • Liaise with cardholders to ensure all transactions are reviewed and submitted
  • Support cardholders on queries relating to card problems
  • Administration of new cardholder creation / cards cancellation
  • Recharge personal / out of policy spend as required
  • Check VAT compliance and policy compliance
  • Ensure correct expense categories are selected
  • Support employees on expense queries and system guidance
  • Review foreign petty cash requests and issue cash to employees
  • Ensure policy is followed and paperwork / receipts / cash is returned at the end of the trip

Skills and experience required for the Administration Assistant include:

  • Experience required – Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
  • Ability to achieve high levels of accuracy whilst working under pressure
  • Experience of Oracle (EBS) an advantage
