Job Description

Our client is one of the UK’s leading distributors supplying food, drink and catering supply products to over 40,000 customers in all different industries, including hotels, restaurants, pubs, prisons, care homes, hospitals, schools etc. They are looking for a Credit Controller to join their team.

Duties & responsibilities

  • Provide invoices and statements to customers
  • Monitor customer credit limits and spend and obtain credit reports when required
  • Process direct debits and take card payments
  • Collect overdue debt and ensuring customer spend is within the credit limits provided to reduce the risk of potential bad debt for the business. 
  • Manage a portfolio of various accounts and liaising with both internal and external customers to resolve day to day queries.

Skills & Experience

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Problem solving skills
  • Confident and motivated
  • Prioritise effectively and possess the ability to work to targets
