Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a confident, customer focused Sales Executive to join our client’s growing team based in Nottingham on a 6 month contract. Our client is a well established market leader in the food industry and you will be joining a dynamic, stable team of driven sales and customer service professionals. The Sales Executive position is a phone based role where you’ll build and nurture strong, lasting relationships, identify sales opportunities and consistently work towards targets.
Sales Executive – Benefits

Sales Executive – The Role
- Initial 6 month FTC with genuine prospect of a permanent position
- Managing customer orders over the phone and acting as a trusted product advisor
- Identifying upselling and cross selling opportunities during customer conversations
- Supporting customers with product knowledge and digital ordering platforms
- Analysing buying patterns to drive effective sales conversations
- Handling customer queries and objections professionally
- Working towards individual and team sales targets
Sales Executive – The Candidate
- Previous experience in a sales or customer facing role
- Confident and professional telephone manner
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
- Target-driven with a proactive approach to upselling
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn product knowledge
