Job Description
We are working with a company who is one of the leading Global producers of high-quality leather products for end-use in the residential, contract, hospitality, and design sectors. They are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join their busy team.
Duties and Responsibilities as a Warehouse Supervisor:
- Ensure that orders and deliveries are processed accurately
- Inspect deliveries for quality and follow quarantine process if necessary
- Ensure that All orders are processed on the day as they are required to be shipped, as per customer instructions and according to warehouse procedures
- Along with other Managerial responsibilities, be able to Lead the team when the warehouse manager is not on site
- Take direct responsibility for the international operation
- Manage stock rotation and quality
- General warehouse and yard upkeep
- As the warehouse supervisor, you would have to be involved in completing yearly stock take
Skills and Experience:
- Both Counterbalance and Reach truck experience essential – Licenses can be expired or in house
- Brief knowledge of international shipping
- Racking knowledge preferable
- Previous experience in similar role
- Physical fitness/manual handling ability
- Ability to work at pace in a demanding warehouse environment
