Our client – an Accountancy Practice based in the Manchester area are on the lookout for a competent and proficient Audit and Accounts Senior to join their team. This is a brilliant opportunity to join our client’s dynamic and forward-thinking team. The Audit and Accounts Senior will play a key role in delivering high-quality Audit and Accounting services to a diverse portfolio of clients across the North West.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
As an Audit and Accounts Senior, you will:
- Lead audit assignments from planning to completion, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards
- Prepare and review statutory accounts for a variety of clients across different industries
- Provide mentorship and support to the junior team members, fostering their development
- Liaise directly with clients, building strong, lasting relationships
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and add value to client services
About You:
To succeed as Audit and Accounts Senior, you’ll need:
- ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent), with post-qualification experience in Audit and Accounts within a practice environment
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards
- Proficiency with Accounting Software – Xero, Sage, Dext etc.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach
- Proven ability to manage workloads, meet deadlines, and lead a team effectively
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering quality work
What You Can Expect:
- Salary in the range of £40-60k
