Cost Accountant
Job Description
Reporting to the Finance Controller we are looking to appoint a Cost Accountant for this Global Design / Supply Group. Close to the M62 / M60 networks.
Key Responsibilities as Cost Accountant:
- Covering all aspects of Cost Accounting
- Analysis and reporting of Labour, Materials, Overheads vs Standards/Budget
- Providing detailed manufacturing cost analysis
- Monthly inventory analysis
- Providing a link between Design and Technology and Finance
What you will bring as a Cost Accountant:
- Part or Newly Qualified AAT / ACCA / CIMA
- Be a well organised character with a high level of attention to detail
- You will be able to plan and organise workloads
- Be able to build and maintain internal / external relationships
- Have worked in a Design / Manufacturing or Production business / sector
- Have Intermediate / Advanced Excel skills
What you can expect:
- Annual Salary of c £40,000 – £45,000 depending on experience and qualification
